This work was truly a satisfaction; it's fun and, using the prefelt, it's done in no time.
Another thing I've been thinking about for a while is homemade soap, which can then be coated with felt or decorated in other ways. Since I have not yet ventured into this project for the job you see I used normal soap bars bought at the supermarket.
The first one I made is the blue one with the 'dove'; is the manufacturer recognizable? then the duck, surrounded by soap bubbles (did I manage to give this effect or are they just polka dots?)
With this technique it is possible to cover not only soaps but also other objects, for example stones to be used as doorstops, or, with some technical device, to cover bowls, boxes (as long as they are waterproof or better not made of cardboard), pens, pencils etc. etc.
In the video, the procedure for this felting technique, if you need explanations, ask or comment, and be patient if, at times, the answer is slow to arrive.
