I have seen many purses with click clack closure, all very nice and cute, the materials used are the most varied, but what is most striking are the decorations that are used, there is something for all tastes: simple crochet or with the shape of amigurumi-type animals, in printed fabrics, with applications, trimmings and various yarns, with lace, embroidered, painted etc. etc. The shapes are also many, both of the hinges and of the body of the purse that in a certain way depend on each other. The hinges are also of different types in terms of color or decoration; there are zippers to which the fabric is glued and others to which it is sewn. It is not difficult to create original shapes, you just need to know a little elementary geometry ... or have a scheme.

My purse has a very simple shape, it is only the second I try to make, despite this, I hope it is not trivial. The materials and tools used are: light denim fabric, click clack zipper (8cm), light aquamarine thermoadhesive rhinestones, plasticized cardboard, needle and thread, rhinestone applicator.
Cut out 2 rectangles of 20x7.5cm from the jeans fabric plus the 7-8mm (21.5x9cm) seam allowances; place the design of the hinge (which is present in the package) over one end of the rectangle, leaving out the 7-8mm of the hem, draw the outline with tracing paper or alternatively draw the outline on a cardboard which will then be cut out and used to draw the outline; repeat also on the other end and again on the second piece of fabric; cut the excess fabric at the corners, always leaving the margin for the hem; we make cuts to prevent wrinkles from forming with the hemming then pin and sew the edges of the two ends of the 2 pieces of fabric, we must sew up to 4.5 cm of the long side (in practice the long sides must remain unstitched at the center for a length of 11cm). We overlap the 'straight' side of the two pieces and sew the free 11 cm together then turn the work over; cut out a 7.5x4cm rectangle from the plasticized cardboard, insert it inside the two layers of fabric until it is exactly in the center, then sew the 2 open sides flush with the cardboard.

This hinge is one with the holes in which the fabric is sewn and not glued; place the two layers of fabric one in front and one behind the perforated plate and sew: From the fabric we cut out 4 trapezoidal-shaped pieces with a base greater than 4 cm, a base less than about 1.5cm and sides of 3.5cm plus the seam allowances, also in this case we overlap the pieces two by two from the 'straight' side and sew the two sides and the smaller base then turn and close the last side (it is better to leave the larger base for last because otherwise it becomes difficult to turn the fabric rather heavy jeans with an opening of just 1.5cm); sew the two trapezoidal pieces. The side seam can be done before or after sewing the central body to the zipper, so proceed as you see fit.

With the rhinestone applicator we begin to apply the rhinestones. Two rows of rhinestones in the upper edge will serve to cover the sewing threads, then slowly proceed along the entire outline, finally draw lines that form a checkerboard, first vertical m, one in the center and two on the sides then make the horizontal lines with the same width as the vertical ones, but this time we start from the bottom and proceed upwards. On the sides we just make a vertical line in the center and a horizontal line at the front. Well, that's all.
